Ive had the same experience as several others...BEFORE the iOS 7 update, the app worked fine in the background without having to be open...NOW, in short order it cuts off and stops counting...USELESS! Please get it together Walk Star!

Can be a great app if it doesnt quit all the time. Needs to be fixed.

I loved this until iOS 7. Now it doesnt run in the background and so stops counting steps immediately. This was a good, simple app with no trending. Add iOS 7 support and aggregate my data, and I will be back to using this app.

This worked one time the other day but since then it seems to stop counting though the timer continues. I used to use this a lot several months ago and it was great but some update has killed it, it seems.

This used to be an accurate and effective pedometer app but since it updated it no longer works the same. Before I could turn it on and put it in my pocket and would count steps, time, distance, and calories. Now when I turn it on and put it in my pocket it stops working. You can actually make it count steps just by flicking your phone up and down now, you dont even need to move you legs. Since its upgrade this app is useless.

The app will not record my steps. I put it in my jean pocket and walked by 45 minute walk. The app recorded 109 steps. The settings high sensitivity with 2.9 step length and body weight 180 pounds. I dont recommend this app.

I really liked this app. Told a number of friends and family about it. But it no longer functions since the last update (Jan 10th or so). It only seems to count steps correctly while I am holding it. When I put it in my pocket, it stops counting.

After reading early reviews, I downloaded it. Ive tried all different settings and cant get anywhere close to a good reading... set step length from 2.5 up to 4.2 and sensitivity from 1 to 5. Ive walked a known length of 1/2 mile for 18 mins time. The app says I walked "184 steps and .07 miles." Dont bother.

Update made this app worthless. Nothing functions properly now. Fix this please!!!

Surprised by many of the negative reviews... This app is very accurate for me. Use it all the time at work. I do recommend that if you put it in your pocket to not leave your phone on the App. Screen. Ive had the tally pause on me if I do.

This app used to work great. Tried it for the first time today in months. Does not register my movements consistently.

I never review apps but after reading the reviews for this one I felt compelled to add my own experience with it. Ive been using this for a few days and while it hasnt been 100% accurate it has certainly been very close. Close enough for me to overlook a few missed steps. I tried several other apps that do the same thing and while I thought they looked a little nicer and seemed to offer more, it just wasnt worth it to keep them because of how much they drained my battery. I was surprised at how little battery this app uses! I rated it 4/5 because I would like a few more features (at the very least Id love it if it I could see how many steps Ive taken without having to actually open the app, maybe by adding the number to the app icon?) but Im definitely pleased enough with this app as it is currently.

This app constantly freezes up. I was so disappointed because at 1st it appeared to work, then when I checked again it wasnt doing anything. I had to reset it to get it to start counting again. =(

Im in the camp that says this app isnt reliable anymore. WHEN it worked, it was great. Is anyone who can fix it reading???

Used to love the app. Now, it doesnt count steps when in a pants pocket. Works fine if I hold in my hand. What changed? Unable to pass feedback to developer because link to development page and "report a problem" goes to a dead end wordpress page. If unfixable, may have to look to a new pedometer.

I have been using the app for about three weeks now in July, 2014. After setting my stride length, I have checked the mileage a couple of times, and found it to be very accurate. I like the simplicity and ease of use of the app.

This app was great but know its so bad sorry fix it

Its accurate and great when its running. However it will go into pause/stop mode intermittently. I want to track my steps for the whole day and checking it at bed time and seeing it stopped in the morning completely kills the point in having this app. I dont have time to baby sit this and continually opening the app to see if its still running. Boo!

Set it up, walked my 2 mile route and it registered 3 steps. If it isnt easy to use, its not worth having!
